Alcidion appoints healthcare executive Steve Lutz as General Manager of Business Development for ANZ

Alcidion today announced the appointment of Steve Lutz as General Manager of Business Development for Australia and New Zealand. Based in the Sydney office, Steve will be responsible for driving business growth in the region, as well as managing and growing our existing sales team.

Steve brings a wealth of experience and expertise having worked for global health IT organisations in senior sales and management positions across Australia, Asia Pacific and Europe. Most recently, Steve was Managing Director at Oneview Healthcare, a patient experience software provider, where he was tasked with overseeing the company’s sales, services and market development functions in ANZ.

Prior to this role, Steve held several senior roles with Cerner Corporation, one of the leading Electronic Medical Record vendors. In his seventeen years with Cerner, Steve worked with eHealth NSW on forging notable programs of work including state-wide Community Health and Outpatient Care and Electronic Medications Management, focused on improving patient safety and outcome quality.

In this new role, Steve will work with the senior management team to develop and execute sales strategies in the ANZ region, as Alcidion continues to grow and expand its global offering. Steve will also work with customers as they invest in their digital transformation, partnering with clinicians to implement smart technology that will bring benefits to the patients and to the teams delivering care.
